This matcha bowl features a glossy finish and irregular lip. The base layer is shades of black with brown brushstrokes and blue dripping motifs. The foot has been left un-glazed and matte white. 

Having a nice matcha bowl is critical to preparing matcha well - the flat bottom and high sides enable vigorous whisking without fear of splashing or damaging the whisk. Beyond that, as it warms up, the bowl becomes a very comforting vessel from which to drink!
