All of our matcha is milled from Wazuka tencha that is grown naturally - this means without sprays, pesticides, or fertilizers of any kind. As a result, our standards are stricter than those for conventional organic matcha.
We import the tencha ourselves and store it here, in Minnesota, until we need to use it. Then we mill all of our matcha tins-to-order, to maximize their complexity, smoothness, and health benefits.
