This is my new favorite tea. I love Pu’ehr and this has all my favorite qualities of Pu’ehr but with flavors I’ve never tasted from Pu’ehr.
Delicious, this is our new favorite matcha. Really glad to have found River and Stone, and have loved trying their different matcha. This is my favorite so far!
But first off, the tea is superb.
Anyways, I used to stir my matcha with a fork. Sad, I know.
It wasn’t until I got this set that I realized how much it makes a difference in the taste and the overall experience. 10/10!
Creamy and very smooth indeed, no bitterness whatsoever on the finish. Light floral notes harmonize nicely with a pleasing ephemeral nuttiness. Would absolutely buy again as a reliable go-to morning matcha !

Is this the best matcha I’ve ever had? In terms of rich smoothness, no bitterness and sweet flavor, yes! It’s second only to a matcha I had in Osaka that tasted like dark chocolate and is my current holy grail. Take that out of the running though and this would be no. 1 for me hands down. Highly recommended for matcha newbies and veterans alike.

I’m happy that I found a local supplier of quality matcha. I was getting my matcha from Matchabar and I could tell the quality was degrading. I was on a monthly subscription for 200g of matcha, and I was very pleased to find a 200g product from River and Stone. I will continue to get my matcha from River and Stone, and would recommend any matcha lover to do the same.
This is one of my new favorite teas very interesting flavor profile mellow and sweet not the least bit grassy flavor very happy
From nose in the tin of milled tea to nose above a chawan of brewed tea, a simply creamy aroma.
I love that the matchas are all ground to order, are thoughtfully sourced, diverse in range of flavors, and are, without exception, delicious....
I like to make this with saffron i like the way they mix so delicious. I had never heard of white Matcha before but now I can’t imagine my life without it. It was so delicious a little more mild but I love it.
The taste is a bit shocking, notably bitter, but the qi is pure and it's fascinating to taste a bit of history here.
She was completely surprised and loved everything about it including the gift box. She no longer has to use makeshift utensils from the kitchen which makes her and her mother happy. I also ordered a sample of the Matcha which she says is much better than what she buys from the local grocery store.
I love supporting local small businesses and this match is stellar! So glad to find this so close to home.
I'm so happy I decided to order this set. It is absolutely gorgeous. It's very well made and I've enjoyed using it daily. Highly recommend.
